Sarr is heavily linked with leaving Watford in the ongoing window as he has attracted significant interest from the Premier League, where he wants to play this season.

The Senegal international was close to joining Aston Villa and even completed his medicals ahead of the proposed move but the deal ultimately broke down.

But Sarr still has admirers in the top flight as Crystal Palace are keen on landing him although Watford knocked back their first bid in the £18.6m range for him.

The Hornets forked out £30m to land Sarr from Rennes in the summer of 2019 and they are tipped to not accept any bids lower than that figure.

However, Crystal Palace will not match the amount Watford are seeking for Sarr’s services while they are unlikely to agree to any ludicrous wage demands.

Having seen a move to Villa fall through, Sarr is tipped to remain at Vicarage Road beyond the ongoing window.

It remains to be seen whether the Eagles return to the negotiating table for Sarr with a new offer in the remaining days of the window.
