Despite there being only days remaining in the transfer window, Nottingham Forest have no plans of slowing down their recruitment drive.

Tricky Trees boss Steve Cooper is still keen on bolstering his backline and a new centre-back is on his wish list having seen new boy Moussa Niakhate pick up a serious injury.

Forest have zeroed in on Wolves man Boly, who the Midlands outfit are open to selling in the ongoing window.

Boly has not made a single appearance for the Midlands club so far this season and it has been suggested that he could be trying to force an exit having failed to turn up for the squad to face Newcastle United.

The Nottinghamshire giants are expected to succeed in their efforts to hand Boly a way out of Wolves, provided they meet their asking price for him.

Wolves are seeking a fee in the £3m to £5m range for Boly’s signature in the ongoing window.

It remains to be seen whether Nottingham Forest will indeed table an offer that Wolves will find acceptable for Boly in the coming days.
