The Citizens are looking to tie down the highly rated youngster to a new deal, but he is yet to commit to fresh terms.

Mebude’s situation at the Etihad Stadium has seen him draw admiring glances from both the Premier League and abroad.

PSV Eindhoven and Club Brugge are keen on a move for the winger, while Southampton along with Newcastle have been keeping a close eye on him

However, the likes of Newcastle are now facing more competition for Mebude’s signature as Premier League rivals Tottenham also want to sign him.

The north London giants are prepared to pounce on Mebude, whose current deal at Manchester City expires in the summer of 2024.

Mebude is known for his pace and has had blistering start to this season in the Premier League 2 with Manchester City Under-21s.

It remains to be seen whether any among the 18-year-old’s suitors will manage to snare him away from the Mancunians this summer.
