The 19-year-old came through the academy ranks at West Brom before joining Aston Villa last summer and has made a total of four senior appearances for Steven Gerrard’s side.
Beale worked with Iroegbunam during his time at Villa, and the Queens Park Rangers boss was keen on signing the player this summer.
Iroegbunam has joined R’s on a season-long loan and Beale believes that the midfielder has all the qualities necessary for a modern player.
The Queens Park Rangers boss is confident that the 19-year-old is ready to be in a Premier League squad and stressed that a player of Iroegbunam’s level will be a huge asset for his side.
“He has athleticism, he regains the ball, he is calm in possession, progressive in his passing; he has everything the modern player needs”, Beale told Queens Park Rangers’ official site.
“Now it is just about gaining experience.
“I think he is ready to be in and around a Premier League squad like he has been at Aston Villa so I am excited to have him here at QPR in the Championship.
“Once he settles, he can be a huge asset for us.”
Iroegbunam will ply his trade under Beale this summer and will be eyeing regular first-team football under the Queens Park Rangers boss ahead of his return to Villa Park.
