The 20-year-old is a product of Fulham’s academy and made his senior debut against Manchester City in a 2019/20 FA Cup tie.

Last season, Jasper spent the first half of the campaign on loan at League Two side Colchester, appearing 24 times for the club, and the latter half with Scottish Premiership side Hibernian.

This summer, the teenager has agreed to a one-season loan with Bristol Rovers, and Gas manager Barton thinks Jasper is a youthful, energetic player with an ambition to succeed.

The Gas were in the market for a winger in the ongoing transfer window and Burton admitted that Jasper, who can play on both sides, perfectly fits their profile of a player they were looking for.

“It’s no secret we’ve been in the market for wide players and Syl fits the profile of what we’ve been looking for”, Barton told Bristol Rovers’ official site.

“He’s a young, hungry, dynamic winger and I hope he will excite our fans with his style of play.”

The 20 year-old will ply his trade under Barton this season and will be eyeing regular football under his new manager.
