Rangers boss Giovanni van Bronckhorst has picked his starting side and substitutes to lock horns with Hearts in a crunch Scottish Premiership fixture at Tynecastle this afternoon.

The Gers head into this weekend sitting just two points behind Celtic and can leapfrog the Bhoys if they can take all three points away from Edinburgh.

There continue to be question marks over Van Bronckhorst however, with the Dutchman yet to fully convince a number of fans despite steering Rangers into the Europa League final last season, as domestic performances come under the scanner.

Hearts head into the encounter sitting in third in the table and not having lost at Tynecastle in the league this term; Rangers did win on their last visit to Tynecastle.

Between the sticks this afternoon, Rangers have Allan McGregor, while James Tavernier and Borna Barisic slot in as full-backs. Ben Davies and Connor Goldson are the centre-back pairing.

In midfield, Van Bronckhorst goes with John Lundstram, Ryan Jack and Scott Arfield, while Rabbi Matondo and Ryan Kent support Antonio Colak.

Van Bronckhorst has options on the bench if he wants to shake things up, including James Sands and Alfredo Morelos.
