The 18-year-old has begun the season scintillatingly, notching up seven goals in eleven matches for the Danish side, matching his total for the last two campaigns combined.

His impressive form has seen him reportedly receive the attention of Premier League duo Arsenal and Liverpool, who are claimed to be interested in signing him.

Schjelderup however has remained coy about his future, insisting he does not know what lies in store for him going forward.

The young striker further stressed that he is happy at the North Zealand club and is focusing on helping his team out in the current season.

“I do not know”, Schjelderup was quoted as saying by Danish daily Ekstra Bladet when asked about his future.

“It depends on what happens.

“Right now I’m doing really well in North Zealand, and that’s where my focus is right now.”

Nordsjaelland are currently sitting top of the table and with Schjelderup hitting a purple patch of form at the club, it remains to be seen if he is willing to move away in the January window.
