Newcastle United have revealed their starting line-up and substitutes to welcome Brentford to St James’ Park in the Premier League this afternoon.

Eddie Howe’s side thrashed Fulham 4-1 in London in their last Premier League outing and will want to build on it today.

The two teams played out a thrilling 3-3 draw at St James’ Park last term, while Newcastle beat Brentford in the reverse fixture, running out 2-0 winners in the capital.

Newcastle continue to be without striker Alexander Isak.

Howe selects Nick Pope in goal, while at the back he picks a four of Kieran Trippier, Fabian Schar, Sven Botman and Dan Burn.

Midfield sees Newcastle field Bruno Guimarares, Joe Willock and Sean Longstaff, while Miguel Almiron and Jacob Murphy support Callum Wilson.

If the Newcastle boss wants to make changes he can turn to his bench, where his options include Allan Saint-Maximin, Matt Targett and Chris Wood.
