Danny Cowley’s side have picked up only two points from their last three league fixtures after beginning the season with a nine-match undefeated run.

Portsmouth drew 1-1 with Fleetwood Town at Fratton Park on Saturday and now sit in fourth place in the League One table, nine points behind league leaders Plymouth Argyle, with two games in hand.

Raggett, who has featured for 90 minutes in Portsmouth all eleven league games this season, believes that Pompey have quality and great characters in their squad, and stressed that there is not a single bad apple in the group

The defender admitted that the squad are disappointed with their recent slump in form after a good start and is confident that Portsmouth will end their three-match winless run against Charlton next Monday.

“It’s definitely been a positive start”, Raggett told The News.

“There’s a couple of results there that we are disappointed with but on the whole it’s been a very good start and we’ll be looking to get back to winning ways against Charlton.

“I think we have a good group of really good characters, we have a lot of quality in the squad.

“I can’t fault the boys with how we’ve started, it’s a great group of lads, there’s no bad eggs and even the boys who don’t quite make the starting eleven or squad they’re still great lads.”

Last season, Cowley’s squad failed to beat Charlton in both League One fixtures, and their last meeting ended with a 2-1 victory to the Addicks.
