Celtic are sitting at the top of the Scottish Premiership table on 24 points after winning eight of their opening nine league games.

They are set to host Hibernian, who are third in the league table on 17 points, on Sunday at Parkhead and will look to keep their momentum going.

Johnson conceded that the challenge for Hibernian will be to implement their plan at Parkhead despite all the pressure they will have to deal with at Celtic’s home base.

The Hibernian boss insisted that his side will not only play against the eleven Celtic players on the pitch, but will also have to deal with the ‘world class’ ball boys of the Scottish champions.

However, he claimed that his Hibernian side will go to Celtic Park with the intention of walking away with three points.

Johnson said in a press conference: “The big challenge for us is whether we can obviously implement that [plan] on such a big stage and against such a good side.

“You are not just playing Celtic sometimes, you are not saying playing the eleven as you are playing the ball boys as well and they are world-class, let me tell you.

“It’s really all from admiration for the club and the set-up.

“At the same time it is a big test and I promise that we will go to every game with the intention of winning it and this won’t be any different.”

Hibernian are coming into the game on the back of an away defeat at Dundee United on Tuesday night.
