Leeds are on a poor run of form and have not won a game in five league games, losing three of them in the process.
The Whites have lost three of their four away games and have earned just a point from their travels in the ongoing campaign.
They are set to travel to bottom-placed team Leicester tonight and Matteo insisted that it is a good opportunity to add some shine to their away form.
He conceded that Leeds have been poor on the road this season but stressed that the Whites are more than capable of getting at least a point from the King Power Stadium this time around, which would be decent.
Matteo said on LUTV: “Looking from our point of view, it is an opportunity to go away from home, which we have been pretty poor at over this season, and making a difference.
“Even if we got a point, it wouldn’t be a bad result.
“We are more than capable of getting a point and I actually think this game could be winnable.”
Leicester are sitting 20th in the Premier League standings and have won just one of their opening ten league games.
