Leeds are on an eight-game run without a win in the league and have lost their last four games in the Premier League, piling the pressure onto their American manager.
The Yorkshire giants have dropped down to 18th in the league table and are now being considered genuine contenders for relegation this season.
Marsch is under pressure to turn results around before the World Cup break but the Leeds board are yet to lose patience with him.
Leeds are reluctant to change managers just yet but the American admitted that he is acutely aware of the situation he is in.
He is happy that the board have been supportive but conceded that cannot continue to be the case if Leeds do not win more games in the coming weeks.
Marsch said in a press conference: “They’ve been very supportive.
“I’m not dumb.
“I understand that if we don’t win games, I put them in a difficult position to support me.”
Leeds are in for a daunting game this weekend when they travel to Anfield to take on Liverpool on Saturday.
