Upon the expiration of his contract with Ligue 1 side Nantes, Muani was snapped up by Eintracht Frankfurt where his performances caught the eye of Didier Deschamps.

Muani did enough to get called up to the defending champions’ squad for the World Cup in Qatar as a replacement for the injured Christopher Nkunku.

The 24-year-old might soon be on the move once more as his stock has risen after a host of strong showings in Germany, with Spurs and Liverpool queuing up for him, according to French outlet Foot Mercato.

Liverpool might be in the market for a new forward as Roberto Firmino’s contract expires next summer, while Darwin Nunez continues his adaptation.

Tottenham also have reason to chase after Muani with Harry Kane’s contract expiring in the summer of 2024 and no extension presently in place.

Spurs are claimed to have recently held a meeting with the player’s representative in London as they explore a potential deal.

It remains to be seen whether Liverpool will soon take similar steps for a player who could cost €80m.

Muani, who can also play on the right flank, has eight goals and eleven assists to his name from 23 appearances in all competitions for the Eagles.
