Leeds hung on and got a draw against high-flying Newcastle United at St. James’ Park, to stop a two match losing streak in the Premier League.

West Ham though were beaten 2-0 by fellow Londoners Brentford last weekend and their losing streak now stands at five.

Compared to the Newcastle game, Parker is expecting Leeds to have more of the ball and be more dangerous against West Ham, especially considering they will be at home.

Parker also expects the Leeds team to draw a lot of confidence from the Newcastle game and thinks the West Ham clash is a massive game.

Speaking on BBC Radio Leeds, Parker said: “Going forward to the West Ham match, I expect us to be more on the front foot, be more clinical in the final third.

“It’s not expecting, you have to be doing that against West Ham at Elland Road because it’s a big game that now.

“It’s a huge game, but one the players should be full of confidence going into after the performance [against Newcastle].”

West Ham have defeated Leeds at Elland Road in both of their seasons back in the Premier League, by a 2-1 scoreline each time, but the Whites will be looking to halt the streak and pile more misery on the Hammers.
