There were claims on Tuesday evening that Marseille are expecting Aston Villa to make an offer for Guendouzi.
And it has been claimed that the Villans are indeed monitoring the French midfielder’s situation at Marseille.
Guendouzi was a key part of Unai Emery’s plans at Arsenal when he was the manager at the Emirates.
The Spaniard likes the combative French midfielder and is believed to be considering taking him to Villa Park.
It is unclear whether any concrete talks have taken place but Guendouzi is very much on Aston Villa’s radar.
It remains to be seen whether they table an offer for the midfielder before the end of the transfer window.
