Tufan is wanted by Besiktas in his home country, Turkey, and they have launched a bid for the Hull midfielder.
While Tufan has 22 appearances this season in the Championship to his name, he has only found intermittent game-time recently with the Tigers.
Since November, the Turkish star has mostly been used as a substitute and missed the game against Birmingham City at the end of last month, followed by playing only fifteen minutes in Hull’s latest match.
It was therefore rated as likely that the midfielder would leave Hull in the current window and go to Turkey.
Tufan wants to continue testing himself at Hull however and battle for his place in the team and it is no longer clear that he will head to Istanbul.
The Turkish star also wants to be in the plans for his national team and believes that by getting more playing-time with Hull he can accomplish that.
While he may be receiving infrequent time on the pitch, Tufan has pitched in with four goals this Championship campaign and has become a fan favourite.
