Perisic arrived at Tottenham last summer following the end of his contract at Inter and he has proved to be a hit with the Spurs aficionados with his performances for the team.
He has played 24 games in all for Tottenham this season and though he has not scored a goal, has contributed with eight assists.
Perisic’s contract with Tottenham runs until the summer of 2024 and he is not planning on leaving early.
The Croatian star is looking to honour his Tottenham contract in its entirety, despite talk of interest from his former club Inter, according to Italian outlet Calciomercato.it.
That means the wing-back will be at Tottenham at least until the summer of 2024 if he does indeed serve out his deal.
Perisic’s agent is expected in the city of his former club Inter soon, but it is suggested it has nothing to do with the Croatian star.
Tottenham are fifth in the Premier League table, in the last 16 of the Champions League and Perisic will be hoping he can help Spurs finish the season as strongly.
