Lloris has been heavily criticised this season for his performances in goal and critics have suggested it is time for Tottenham to move on from the 36-year-old.
The World Cup winner was held at fault for conceding the first goal in both of Tottenham’s last two defeats, to Aston Villa and Arsenal, respectively.
Tottenham have been linked with a number of goalkeepers this window, including the likes of Everton star Jordan Pickford and Brentford shot-stopper David Raya.
However, Tottenham are not planning to move on and change their number 1 goalkeeper, Lloris, this month.
Lloris will have just a year left on his contract come the end of the season but his time as Tottenham’s No. 1 is not up for the time being.
The club captain has played all but one of Tottenham’s Premier League and Champions League games this season.
He has managed to keep seven clean sheets and will be hoping for improved displays, starting with the Manchester City game this week.
