Trossard has had a falling out with Brighton boss Roberto De Zerbi and his agent has claimed that the player wants to leave the club.

Tottenham are interested in the player but they have not gone back since Brighton rejected a verbal offer earlier in the window.

Arsenal have also been linked with a move for him after they lost out on Mykhailo Mudryk to Chelsea, who signed him on a deal worth €100m.

But it has been claimed that Trossard is not a player Arsenal are looking to table an offer for at the moment, in what may be a boost for Tottenham.

They are in the market for a winger but the Belgian may not be the profile of player Arsenal are looking for this month.

The Gunners are still assessing their options and are looking at several players going into the last couple of weeks of the transfer window.

Trossard wants to leave Brighton but even an unnamed European club have had a bid rejected by the Seagulls, who are clear he only goes if their valuation is met.

De Zerbi has not ruled out bringing the player back into the squad if he agrees to toe the line.
