The Gunners are on the verge of signing Leandro Trossard from Brighton as part of Mikel Arteta’s plans to bring in a winger.

But Arsenal will push for more signings and the club are now looking to bring in a centre-back before the end of the transfer window this month.

And 22-year-old Kiwior has emerged as a top target for the north London club in the ongoing transfer window.

According to Polish outlet Meczyki, Arsenal are in advanced talks with Spezia in their pursuit of the centre-back.

The Italian club are said to have rejected a bid from Borussia Dortmund recently and Kiwior has also been on the radar of Juventus, Napoli and AC Milan.

But it has been claimed that Arsenal are pressing forward with their efforts to sign him and a deal is close to getting agreed upon.

If the negotiations succeed, Spezia are set to bag a fee of €20m from the Pole’s move to the Emirates.

Spezia signed Kiwior from MSK Zilina in 2021 for a little over €2m and are now in line to get ten times that fee from his potential departure.
