Wollacott was Charlton’s first-choice goalkeeper until injury struck in November, just before the World Cup in Qatar.

As a consequence of the fractured finger, the shot-stopper has not been able to play for Charlton still and is yet to make a comeback.

Nonetheless, there is interest from the Championship to take the Ghanaian star on loan in the current window.

It is unclear whether Charlton are in the mood to sanction a loan for the injured goalkeeper and let him leave for the Championship.

Ashley Maynard-Brewer has been the choice of Charlton in the absence of Wollacott and the 23-year-old has impressed in the middle of the sticks.

It is suggested Wollacott is back on his way to recovery but he could be tasked to battle for the No. 1 spot with Maynard-Brewer.

With only a few days of the window remaining, it remains to be seen what decision Charlton take in regards to the Ghanaian goalkeeper.
