As the current transfer window nears its conclusion, the American midfielder’s future at Juventus is under the scanner.

Juventus are willing to let McKennie leave this month, but only if they receive a bid that pleases them.

Leeds have already signed Maximilian Wober from RB Salzburg and Georginio Rutter from Hoffenheim, and are interested in the US international.

The Yorkshire giants are in talks with Bianconeri about taking McKennie on loan in January, with the option to make the move permanent later and they moved to try to sign him following talks with Marsch.

Marsch wants to add McKennie to the squad at Elland Road, but Leeds are finding it challenging to agree a deal with Juventus.

It is claimed Juventus want a fee in excess of £20m for McKennie and it is unclear if a loan works for the Bianconeri.

McKennie is the subject of interest from several clubs in the ongoing window and it remains to be seen whether Leeds will be able to strike a deal for the midfielder before Tuesday night.
