Anthony Gordon has moved to Newcastle and Everton are now in the market for a winger in the final two days of the transfer window.
The Toffees are tracking several players ahead of Tuesday’s transfer deadline and Sulemana is a player they like.
It has been claimed that the Merseyside club have already made a concrete move to take him to Goodison Park in the final days of the window.
Everton have put in a verbal offer to snare Sulemana away from Rennes before Tuesday’s transfer deadline.
However, they are yet to hear back from the French club since putting in the verbal bid.
Southampton are also interested in Sulemana and have already failed with a €20m offer for him.
Rennes are reportedly inclined towards selling him but are believed to be holding out for a fee of €30m.
