Llorente is currently in Italy and preparing to sign for Jose Mourinho’s Roma on a loan deal which will run until the end of the season.
It has been claimed that there will be an option to buy in the agreement, but that has not been finalised and Leeds want an obligation.
Leeds paid £18m to sign Llorente and want to make sure that Roma agree to an obligation in the loan that will let them recoup at least the sum they shelled out for him.
All eyes will be on what Roma and Leeds eventually agree, with it still possible it could be an option and not an obligation.
Llorente recently signed a new contract at Leeds, but he has been pushed down the pecking order.
The Whites signed Maximilian Wober from Red Bull Salzburg earlier this month and that has affected Llorente’s chances of game time.
He is keen to make sure he is playing regular football and will hope to do that at Roma.
