Graham Potter’s side have already splashed the cash to sign Mykhailo Mudryk, but are still ready to spend more money on deadline day.

The London outfit have targeted Argentinian World Cup winner Enzo Fernandes from Benfica and are willing to pay his €120m release clause.

Chelsea though do not want to pay the clause all in one sum and are holding talks with Benfica.

Arsenal have moved in to swoop for Chelsea midfielder Jorginho and the player is close to an exit from Stamford Bridge.

Chelsea are considering other midfield possibilities, while Jorginho is closing in on joining Arsenal and the Fernandez deal is not done.

And according to Italian outlet Tutto Mercato, Chelsea got in touch with Inter to ask about Barella.

Inter though gave a firm response and informed Chelsea that they are unwilling to part ways with Barella.

Barella is a key member of Inter’s squad and has appeared 19 times for the Italian outfit, scoring five goals and assisting six goals this season.
