Watt is being allowed to leave Tannadice and several clubs have been showing interest in the striker, including Belgian outfit Oostende.

He also has interest from within the Scottish Premiership, where his former side Motherwell are keen, while St Mirren are admirers.

Dundee United have received approaches for Watt.

However, so far none of Watt’s suitors have been able to reach an agreement with Dundee United and the clock is ticking.

The transfer window is open until midnight in Scotland, but suitors will need to work quickly to agree a deal with Dundee United.

The 29-year-old has made 17 appearances for Dundee United in the Scottish Premiership so far this term, scoring four goals.

Watt’s current deal at Tannadice is due to run through until the summer of 2025.
