The Toffees are expecting to be extremely busy on the final day of the transfer window as they look to strengthen new manager Sean Dyche’s hand.
Everton are looking to bring in reinforcements for multiple areas of the squad but bringing in an attacker is a big priority for the club.
The Merseyside club have been tracking several forwards and Becker is claimed to be one of the names on their shortlist.
And according to German broadcaster Sky Deutschland, they are considering putting in an offer for the Union Berlin forward today.
Becker has scored seven times in 18 Bundesliga appearances this season and has 18 months left on his current contract.
He has been attracting interest from the Premier League and was the subject of an enquiry from West Ham as well.
However, Everton are the ones who are weighing up tabling a bid for him in the coming hours.
It remains to be seen whether the Toffees eventually try and take him to England before today’s transfer deadline.
