Berge was linked to a move last summer too but he ended up staying at Sheffield United, where he has helped in their promotion fight.

The Norwegian star has made 19 appearances and scored four goals along with assisting three times in the Championship this season.

His performances have caught the attention of both Newcastle and Fulham, who are both keen to snap him up.

Prince Abdullah is not willing to let Berge go in this transfer window though and will not entertain any more bids for the midfielder.

Of the numerous enquiries received by the club so far for Berge, none of them have reached the valuation determined by the club for him.

Berge is said to be happy at Sheffield United still and the Blades want him to stay with them and finish the job with the promotion campaign.

Sheffield United are also in a transfer embargo that has them able to have incomings only with the approval of the EFL.
