Jota picked up a calf injury in Liverpool’s game against Manchester City in October and the winger has returned to the training ground this week.
Liverpool have failed to score in their last three Premier League games and will be hoping to get Jota back in action soon.
Klopp’s side will face Everton on Monday at Anfield and Klopp will be missing several of his first-team players.
The German manager has revealed that Jota is closest to getting fit and indicated that with a few more training sessions, the winger will be in contention for the Everton match.
“The players are back in training in different stages”, Klopp said at a press conference.
“Diogo is the closest, trains now already for two days.
“Another three days and then he is in contention I would say”, Klopp added.
Klopp ruled out the involvement of Virgil van Dijk against the Toffees and added that Roberto Firmino and Arthur Melo are also close to a full recovery.
“Bobby, the next one and Arthur is similar.
“We have to see. Virgil, closer but I don’t think [v Everton].”
Liverpool are unbeaten in the last three Merseyside derbies and will be hoping to extend their record on Monday.
