Pompey have ten points from six games under new manager Mousinho and currently sit in tenth place in League One.

Next, Mousinho will take his side to the LNER Stadium to lock horns with Mark Kennedy’s Lincoln City, who are unbeaten in the league at their home ground this season.

The Portsmouth boss stated that the Imps are a side well managed and organised by Kennedy and believes their home form is proof of what an excellent team they are.

Mousinho pointed out that Lincoln City have made their home ground a fortress and admitted that today’s game will be a tough challenge for his side.

“They are an excellent side and clearly, their home form tells you everything you want to know”, Mousinho told Portsmouth’s in-house media.

“They tend to sell out when they are at home and they have great support.

“I think coming through the leagues as Lincoln have done, they have really made that fortress for themselves.

“So it is a really good challenge for us against a decent side, who have been well organised and well coached by Mark Kennedy.

“I think they will be a test for us on Saturday.”

Portsmouth have won all three of their previous three visits to the LNER Stadium and Mousinho’s side will be hoping to keep that record intact.
