The 21-year-old has been on the radar of several big clubs for a while and has been linked with a move away from Gladbach.

The German club have been asking for big money from any club who have shown an interest in signing him.

Their price tag has prevented a few clubs from trying to sign him but it has been claimed that is set to change.

According to German magazine Sport Bild, Gladbach have decided to lower their asking price for Kone.

The Bundesliga outfit are prepared to listen to offers of around €30m for the midfielder in the summer.

Kone has several suitors across Europe with Liverpool believed to be interested in the player.

The Frenchman has also attracted interest from Bayern Munich, Borussia Dortmund, RB Leipzig and Paris Saint-Germain.

The race to sign him is likely to heat up as the summer window draws closer with more clubs expected to join the queue of suitors.
