Everton scored a big 1-0 win over Brentford at Goodison Park today and moved out of the relegation zone for now.
They are now sitting 15th in the Premier League standings and are breathing a sigh of relief after a big performance in front of the home fans.
Everton have won three games since Dyche took charge of the club and Higginbotham pointed out that the Toffees midfield and defence produced another brilliant performance to get three points.
The former Premier League star stressed the importance of the impact the manager has made since getting hold of Everton last month.
Higginbotham took to Twitter and wrote: “What a huge result for Everton. Defence and midfield immense.
“Dyche having a huge impact.”
Everton have a tough away trip to Chelsea lined up next weekend before the international break.
They will come back from the break with a home game against Antonio Conte’s Tottenham Hotspur.
