Bellingham has been gradually emerging as the most coveted young talent in world football with a serious bidding war expected for him in the summer.

He has been Liverpool’s number-one midfield target since last year and the club have decided against signing any serious option in the last two windows in order to get him.

He is also on Real Madrid’s radar and the club are pushing hard to take him to Spain in the next window.

And according to Spanish daily AS, in a recent meeting between Real Madrid and Bellingham, the club tried hard to dispel any doubts he might have over a move to Spain.

An emissary from Real Madrid met the player and his camp in Germany recently for high-level talks.

Real Madrid tried to sell a move to the Bernabeu and how they are the best option for him when he leaves Dortmund.

The Spanish giants also tried to clarify any questions Bellingham could have over a move to Spain.

Real Madrid are aware that they are in for a tough fight to sign the midfielder given Liverpool’s long-held interest in him.

But the club are hoping that the lure of Real Madrid will convince Bellingham to snub a move to the Premier League for now.
