The 19-year-old midfielder joined Leeds from Manchester City in the summer, as Kalvin Phillips went the other way, and has featured regularly for the Whites Under-21 side this season.

Gyabi has trained with the Leeds senior team on several occasions and has also picked up three senior appearances for the Yorkshire outfit.

The young midfielder stated that after spending a lot of time with first-team players, he has managed to pick up certain pointers on and off the pitch and stressed that he is learning more and more every day.

Gyabi believes that there are always opportunities for a young player to improve and he stressed that he is growing and improving his game by observing the first-team players.

“I feel like when you’re around first-team players for so long they don’t have to tell you things but if you watch what they’re doing, you pick up the little things, not just on the pitch, but gym work, how they speak, how they get around, how they’re moving, how they’re interacting with other young players”, Gyabi told the Yorkshire Evening Post.

“I think there’s always a platform to learn and improve because they’ve done it for so long and you only want to learn.

“When you’re young in that environment, it’s all about learning and adding and improving.

“Definitely, I think I’m learning more.”

The 19-year-old central midfielder has played 15 times for Leeds Under-21s, scoring two goals and assisting three others; he will be looking for Javi Gracia to hand him first team minutes before the end of the season.
