The obligation to buy clause in Kulusevski’s loan from Juventus will lapse if Spurs do not qualify for next season’s Champions League.

They appear unlikely to be able to finish in the Premier League’s top four this season and will as a result have a decision to make about Kulusevski.

According to Italian outlet TuttoJuve.com, Kulusevski is happy at Tottenham and wants to stay at the north London club.

He is though playing the waiting game to see whether Tottenham do intend to sign him on a permanent basis.

Juventus are also waiting to see what Tottenham want to do with the Sweden international.

Kulusevski, 23, has turned out 27 times in the Premier League for Tottenham this season, scoring twice and providing six assists.

By contrast, after joining in January last year, Kulusevski netted five times and provided eight assists in just 18 Premier League outings in the second half of last term.
