Several players in the current Rangers squad will be out of contract at the end of the season and the club are yet to clarify their situations.

Ryan Jack has signed a year-long extension but Ryan Kent and Alfredo Morelos are expected to move on once their contract expires at the end of the campaign.

Beale admitted that there will be some clarification after the weekend and Rangers will formally announce the departure of certain players.

He also added some of the youngsters will now get pushed forward and will get a chance in the first-team squad.

The Rangers boss said in a press conference: “After the weekend we will formally let everyone know the players leaving.

“[Zak] Lovelace and [Bailey] Rice are away on International duty so one or two other young lads will get opportunities to come round the first-team side.

“We want to end the season well.”

Beale insisted that he has a core group of players who can take the club forward but stressed the need to not overemphasise the importance of the win over Celtic last weekend.

“There is a core of players that will move us forward, last week was a decent performance but it is important we don’t get romantic over one result.”
