Radrizzani along with his business partner Matteo Manfredi is trying to complete the takeover of Sampdoria.

The Italian club have already been relegated from Serie A and are facing dire financial issues off the pitch.

The Leeds chairman recently met the Sampdoria board and presented his proposal, which also included a financial and sporting plan for the club’s revival.

And according to Italian daily La Repubblica, the Italian tabled a fresh offer for Sampdoria on Tuesday evening.

The new proposal is not conditional on him getting extra investors on board and a straightforward bid for the purchase of the club.

It suggests that Radrizzani has already found financial backing for him to complete the takeover of Sampdoria.

If an agreement can be reached soon, Radrizzani could complete the takeover of Sampdoria in the next 24 to 48 hours.

Leeds remain under his control but that could change this summer when the 49ers have an option to buy the club from him.
