The Pittodrie outfit are currently sitting third in the Scottish Premiership standings and are pursuing a European place for next season.

Aberdeen are two points clear of fourth-placed Hearts with two games to spare as both clubs are in the fray to grab a European slot for next term.

McFadden believes that the Dons need to get the job done as Barry Robson’s men are chasing their European dreams and the former Scotland star emphasised that there is still work to be done for the Pittodrie side.

He further added that positions could change in the last two matches of the league as per the nature of this season’s campaign.

There is still work to be done”, McFadden said on Sky Sports News.

They have to get it that over the line and we will see what happens.

I am pretty sure positions will change.

I know there are two games left, but it’s such been the nature of the season and things will change in the last two games.

The Dons are set to take on St. Mirren tonight at Pittodrie and will be looking to consolidate their position in third place before facing league champions Celtic on the final day.
