Former Spurs boss Antonio Conte signed Kulusevski on an 18-month loan spell from Juventus in January 2022.

The Italian outfit inserted a €35m obligation to buy clause in Kulusevski’s contract if Tottenham manage to qualify for the Champions League.

Conte, who is an admirer of the 23-year-old’s talent, left the club in March and Tottenham have failed to seal a spot in next season’s Champions League.

Kulusevski has been a regular in Tottenham’s starting line-up, contributing two goals and seven assists in 29 league outings for the club.

The 23-year-old winger has another year left on his contract with the Italian outfit.

And according to Italian outlet Calciomercato.com, Juventus are hoping that Spurs will sign Kulusevski in the summer as they do not want to lose the player on free transfer at the end of next season.

Tottenham’s uncertainty over their new permanent boss has left Kulusevski’s future with the London outfit unclear.

And it remains to be seen whether Spurs will decide to sign the winger on a permanent deal in the summer.
