The 19-year-old goalkeeper came through the academy ranks of Crystal Palace and made his Premier League debut last season for the Eagles.
Whitworth is considered very highly at Selhurst Park and in January he signed a contract extension that will keep him at the club until the end of June 2027.
Crystal Palace want to loan out the player in the summer to get him the regular minutes necessary for his development.
And the goalkeeper is not short of suitors as he is attracting interest from several European outfits.
And it has been claimed that his distribution abilities have managed to especially impress Belgian and Dutch outfits and they are interested in taking him on loan.
The Eagles, however, have yet to receive a concrete offer for Whitworth and they are expecting a rise in interest in the young goalkeeper as soon as pre-season begins.
Last season, Whitworth made two senior appearances for Crystal Palace and was an unused substitute in several Premier League games.
