Lindsay, 19, plied his trade for Rangers B between 2021 and 2023 and made significant contributions to the side’s campaign last term.

The midfield prospect scored against Liverpool and Napoli in last season’s UEFA Youth League and now he is a free agent after leaving Ibrox in May.

The jury is still out on where he will end up this summer, but the Northern Irish midfielder revealed that some reputed English clubs have shown interest in him in the ongoing transfer window.

He further added that he is not looking into the interest that has developed in him and his focus is on being in the best shape.

I just want to go to a club who are ambitious because I want to kick on”, Lindsay told the Daily Record.

There is some interest from some big clubs in England, so we will see what develops.

It is nice to hear there is interest but you can’t look into that too much.

I just need to keep working hard.

I have been training hard to make sure I am in the best shape wherever I end up next season.

I want to push to get first-team minutes and to keep getting better as a player and a person.”

It is still unclear which English sides are interested in him, but all eyes will be on Lindsay to see whether he can utilise his valuable experience built during his spell at Ibrox in the future.
