Phillips was a bit part player in the Liverpool squad last season and the club are willing to listen to offers for him.

He has several clubs in the Championship who are interested in him with Leeds being one of his chief suitors in the ongoing transfer window.

The Whites want Phillips because of his experience of getting promoted from the Championship as they seek to bounce back from relegation from the Premier League last season.

But it has been claimed that Phillips is now attracting interest from Dutch champions Feyenoord.

The Rotterdam club want to sign the centre-back on a permanent deal from the Merseyside giants.

However, Feyenoord are yet to open any formal talks to get their hands on the centre-back this summer.

Interest from Feyenoord is likely to be a worry for Leeds as the Dutch champions can offer Champions League football to Phillips.

Liverpool are prepared to sell if they receive a fee of £10m for the defender in the ongoing window.
