Manchester United have already signed Mason Mount from Chelsea and are in advanced negotiations to bring in Inter Milan goalkeeper Andre Onana for a deal worth €55m.

They are also looking to bring in a new striker with Atalanta’s Rasmus Hojlund believed to be on their priority list.

Amrabat has been linked with a move to Old Trafford as well and the club are indeed interested in him.

But it has been claimed that any move for the Fiorentina midfielder would have to wait for now.

He is not a priority target at the moment as Manchester United look to sort out moves to bring in a goalkeeper and a number 9.

They have held talks with the representatives of Amrabat and he is very much on their radar.

However, a swoop for him is likely to be dependent on departures, especially in the midfield area.

Fred has been linked with a move away from Old Trafford and Manchester United could also sell Scott McTominay if they receive a big offer.
