Ampadu has completed a move to join Leeds from Chelsea on a permanent deal in the ongoing transfer window.

The Welshman has agreed to sign a four-year contract at Leeds and will look to settle down at Elland Road after being on loan at several clubs over the last few years.

Leeds have agreed to pay a fee of £7m to Chelsea and the Blues will be due another £3m in add-ons based on his performance at Elland Road.

It has been claimed that Chelsea will also stand to earn from Ampadu’s departure in the coming years.

The Blues have managed to convince Leeds to have a sell-on clause in the agreement between the two clubs.

If Ampadu moves on from Leeds for a big fee in the coming years, Chelsea stand to gain from the transaction.

The defender only had a year left on his contract at Chelsea and the club were happy to sell him this summer.
