The 23-year-old Ghana international has been plying his trade at Ajax since 2020 and has already established himself as a midfield mainstay at the Johan Cruyff Arena.
His authoritative presence on the pitch has drawn interest from several big guns in the ongoing transfer window and Arsenal are one of his suitors.
The Gunners have already witnessed some high-profile incomings to the Emirates Stadium in the shape of Declan Rice, Kai Havertz and Jurrien Timber.
But Mikel Arteta might not conclude the transfer activity now and his side are likely to move for more additions before the commencement of next season’s campaign.
With the north London side keen on Kudus, the midfielder’s absence from the training ground has raised several eyebrows.
But the Amsterdam side poured cold water on the speculation and cleared the air stating that Kudus is absent from training for medical reasons via their social media account.
The Dutch giants also added that the Ghanaian stayed indoors and received treatment for a minor injury.
It remains to be seen now whether Arteta’s side will make a concrete move for Kudus in the coming days and whether Ajax will eventually let their midfield jewel go.
