Min-jae Kim has left Napoli for Bayern Munich this summer and the Serie A giants are pushing to bring in someone to fill the South Korean’s boots.

The Wolves defender has been their top target and Napoli have been keen to secure a deal to take him to Italy in the ongoing transfer window.

However, Wolves have rejected a bid from Napoli for the centre-back and are not prepared to accept anything less than €40m this summer.

But according to Italian daily Corriere del Mezzogiorno (via TuttoNapoli), Napoli are convinced that the asking price will drop later in the window.

The Serie A giants are not prepared to walk away from their interest in Kilman and are prepared to wait and watch.

Kilman is a player Napoli admire and they are ready to bide their time in order to get their hands on the defender.

For now, Wolves are relaxed about the situation and are prepared to offer Kilman a new contract if he stays.

However, Wolves do want to make signings and it has been claimed they will need to make further sales to do so.
