Kudus is said to be keen on moving on from Ajax this summer with a few clubs in the Premier League believed to be interested in him.

Chelsea are amongst the sides who are considering taking him to the Premier League in the ongoing transfer window.

The attacker is also believed to be a top target for Arsenal but Mislintat stressed that no club have made a move for him beyond making an informal enquiry so far this summer.

He also conceded that he is not expecting an imminent offer to land on his table for Kudus.

The Ajax sporting director pointed out that interest from the Premier League could ramp up later once the clubs return to the UK from their pre-season tours.

Mislintat was quoted as saying by Ajax Life: “There are clubs that have informally inquired about him.

“I don’t expect an offer very soon, although you know that things can be different in the football world.

“Perhaps the interest is not as serious as everyone thinks for the time being.

“At the same time, we know that the market in England has not really taken off yet.

“Those clubs are all in America for their preparation.”

Kudus is believed to be preferring a move to a club playing in the Champions League this summer.
