Tomiyasu, 24, joined the Gunners in 2021 from Bologna and the Japanese international has intermittently featured for the London side so far.
He has drawn interest from Inter Milan in the ongoing transfer window, with the Serie A giants looking to add to their defensive ranks.
And according to Italian daily Gazzetta dello Sport (via Calciomercato.com), Simone Inzaghi’s side have now enquired about Tomiyasu and they are keen on bringing in the Japan star on loan.
Inter are eyeing improving upon last term’s performances and Tomiyasu’s addition to their squad could provide them with a defensive filip.
The 24-year-old defender has still two years remaining on his contract with the Gunners.
But amid Arsenal’s plans to play their new acquisition Jurrien Timber in the right-back position moving forward, Tomiyasu’s future at the Emirates Stadium is under the lens.
Now it remains to be seen whether Inter will be able to strike a loan deal with the Gunners for Tomiyasu this summer.
