The Saudi Arabian outfit have been chasing the frontman all summer and the player has made it clear that he wants the move.

The Craven Cottage outfit however do not want to lose their star man and rejected Al Hilal’s first two offers.

They made another bid worth £46m for the Serbian in recent days and it was claimed that the Saudi outfit are very close to capturing Mitrovic.

However, Al Hilal submitted their bid two days ago and the 28-year-old is yet to have any clarity about the Premier League club’s decision about the offer.

Mitrovic came on as a substitute in Fulham’s opening-day league win against Everton on Saturday even though he vowed to never play for the club again.

He has had an agreement with Al Hilal for some time now and made it known that Al Hilal is the only club he wants to play for in recent days.

Now it remains to be seen if the Cottagers will respond to Al Hilal’s offer for Mitrovic with the player desperate to leave before the transfer window slams shut.
