Spurs have been without a sporting director following Paratici’s resignation from the post back in April and are looking for who could come in.
They have been patiently waiting to appoint the Italian’s successor and are admirers of the work that Pinto has done at Roma.
The 38-year-old has been with Roma since 2021 but has entered the final year of his contract at the Italian club.
Tottenham could be a welcome option for Pinto, according to Italian outlet Calciomercato.it.
However, Tottenham would like to appoint a new sporting director after the summer transfer window closes in September.
And that could be an obstacle as it is claimed that it is unlikely Roma would want to lose Pinto so soon.
Tottenham have kept tabs on Barcelona’s director of football Mateu Alemany, who will leave the Catalan giants in September.
Alemany will be replaced at Barcelona by former player Deco; he had been contacted by Aston Villa but rejected the move to Villa Park to stay put in Spain.
